Another aspect of my job at the City of Lawrence was working alongside the controller's office to help prepare budget documents and presentaiton materials.

The controller's office at Lawrence has won the GFOA Budget Preparation award 7 times in a row (2017-2023) and I have been a part of that continuing that success since 2019.
